Our first film is out now

Today we released our first film, The Medical Mesh Scandal Ruining Women's Lives.

Women were told a mesh sling was a safe 15 minute fix for incontinence. Thousands were left with chronic pain, nerve damage and years of further surgery, and many were told it was all in their heads.

The film follows Kath Sansom, who set up Sling the Mesh in 2015, and women living with the consequences. It hears from urogynaecologist Dr Wael Agur and Professor Carl Heneghan of Oxford's Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, and asks why there's now a push to bring the same sling back.
