MAZE is built by female filmmakers, and we are always looking for more of them.
Work with MAZE
Bring us your film, your skills or your story
We publish finished films, hire freelance crews and take story pitches. Here is how to get involved.
Filmmakers with finished films
Alongside our own productions, MAZE publishes finished documentaries made by women filmmakers. We handle the recut, the legal review and the impact campaign, and the filmmaker is credited on the film. Selections are currently by nomination. If you know a finished film by a woman filmmaker that deserves a bigger audience, tell us: hello@mazedocs.com
Freelance filmmakers, editors and cinematographers
Our films are made by freelance crews of women: self-shooting directors, cinematographers, editors, producers and researchers, mostly in the UK. We keep a list and we go back to it for every film. Introduce yourself with a line about what you do and a link to your work: hello@mazedocs.com
Story pitches
If you are close to a story the news has ignored, particularly a women’s story, we want to hear it. Two lines is enough: hello@mazedocs.com
